Shield Home Watch, locally owned and operated, is based in beautiful Bradenton, FL. We launched in 2019 serving local and absentee property owners in Manatee & Sarasota counties as well as Anna Maria Island, Holmes Beach, Bradenton Beach, Lakewood Ranch, and many more. Shield Home Watch offers a dynamic service line meant to create more than an experience, rather, a lifestyle for it’s members. Our home watch services and commercial property services leverage a combination of personal attention as well as technology providing 24/7 monitoring.

For those members who like just a bit more, we offer a myriad of concierge buy-ups as well as the ability for complete customized packages suitable for every unique need. We see ourselves as a compliment to the overall property ownership ecosystem, partnering with realtors, builders and tradesman alike to ensure the experience is holistic and the best it can be. A mission driven company, Shield Home Watch is committed not only to the needs of our members but also to the needs of our community. We do this by sponsoring local Bradenton, FL charities.

Nicholas Lemmon, Shield Home Watch founder and owner, has worked in healthcare operations for over 10 years, with experience in human resources, project management, business process operations and quality assurance. A certified project manager, with a bachelors in Accounting and a Master’s in Health Administration, his career has taken him across the country and around the world. But as a native Michigander and lover of the outdoors, it was Bradenton he chose to settle down in, enjoying the abundant and beautiful outdoor adventure, world class food and outstanding art & cultural scenes. It took a few years, but after having owned multiple properties – sometimes thousands of miles apart – and helping building a home, he realized his love for real estate. Better yet, he realized the need to ensure these investments are kept safe and to protect the investment. As a resident of Bradenton, a place highly sought after for vacations and second homes, he knows what it means to be an absent homeowner and treats all properties with the care he would expect for his own.

Bringing this mind set to Shield Home Watch & Concierge, Nicholas has the goal of providing superior service to every client. Fundamental to establishing a strong relationship is making sure that our clients are well educated and fully aware of every aspect of the services that Shield Home Watch Services provides. When clients are informed and confident, their interactions with Shield Home Watch will result in the favorable outcomes of improved peace of mind and time back in their day.

When not busy working, Nick enjoys hiking around Manatee County, kayaking the lakes or a nice float down the River.

Shield Home Watch was created at the request of friends / family who needed professional attention to their vacation and second homes while they were away. While home sitting can meet some homeowners’ needs, our professional home management service not only helps you feel secure your home is being watched in your absence, but ensures its top condition when you return to enjoy it.
 
We’ve devised a thorough inspection list that allows us to scrutinize homes both indoors and out. After completing our inspection, we immediately report any potential problems and can help you coordinate and oversee remedial action. Licensed, bonded and insured ourselves, we make sure our pre-screened service providers have these professional credentials as well.
 
When your house is regularly inspected, small home management issues stay small, and sometimes our intervention makes professional repair unnecessary. Even when there are no concerns to relay, each property inspection comes with photographs and a report.
 
Because homes can be as unique as their owners, we also offer specialized services. Want your family to feel they’re walking into the lobby of a high-end hotel on the first day? We’re happy to arrange cleaning as well as the delivery and placement of fresh flowers in the home before you arrive. We’ll have the drapes cleaned, towels stacked in the bathrooms, food in the refrigerator and the sheets turned down, all ready for weary travelers.
 
Shield Home Watch also makes departures a little easier by handling all of the tasks needed to close the home up properly. We can store outdoor furniture, clean home, carpets and drapes, set the sprinkler system and alarms and even unplug appliances. You’ll return to your primary residence relaxed and happy that all is well in Florida.
